Camp is held at the Trout Lake Retreat Center in Stroudsburg, PA.  We are about 2 hours from Philadelphia, and 2 hours from NYC.

There are 3 options for sleeping at camp. 

1. All Inclusive- Basic Lodging: Campers will be hosted in  style, cabin shared accommodation.  All cabins are heated, have a lakefront porch, hot water showers, bunkbeds, and come with bedding and towels.

Cabins will house 10-15 girls and are assigned first come, first served.  If you have a request to be housed with a friend, we are happy to try to accommodate your request.  

2. Weekender Day Pass-Full Camp, Lodging not included.  This ticket is discounted but purchasers need to find their own accommodation off site.  We have reserved a hotel block at a nearby hotel for camp attendees. 

3.All Inclusive- Premium Housing: Campers can elect to be housed in a private room with 3-4 girls.  To secure this housing, please purchase your ticket and name the other 2-3 girls you'd like to be housed with.

Gear: We would recommend bringing 2-3 gis and 2-3 sets of no-gi gear. Remember clean sports bras and underwear! There is no laundry service available at camp.  We'd also recommend bringing apparel to lounge in, a mouth piece, any braces you might need, flip-flops, and a swimsuit for the boating portion of the camp.

Snacks: You will have dinner served Friday, 3 meals served on Saturday, and breakfast served on Sunday.  Please bring any extra snacks if you think you might want them! 

Money: Meals, training, and stay are all included in your ticket price, however we will be having a variety of vendors at camp so bring some money for shopping!

Toiletries: Your towel and bedding will be provided to you at the beginning of camp, Please bring any additional blankets or pillows you'd like. If you'd like, please bring a mattress topper, some girls have found that helpful. Please bring any toiletries you might require. Think about: Braces, Tape, KT Tape, Ibuprofen/CBD,Tigerbalm, period products etc.

We would also recommend bringing a notebook, there's going to be a lot of information at camp.  Record and write it down!

It helps to have some Jiu Jitsu experience, but camp can also be a great place to jump start your jiu jitsu journey!

Unfortunately, we cannot permit anyone who has not registered for camp to come and stay with us at trout lake.

However, if you would like to bring your daughter (15 years old or older) to attend camp with you she is welcome to attend. 

Both you and your child must buy individual tickets for camp.  Anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult to camp.

Unfortunately tickets to camp are non-refundable.  However, if you cannot make it you are welcome to try to transfer your ticket to someone else who would like to come or to the next year! The transfer deadline is April 14th, 2024.

Absolutely! Camp is a great place to make friends, come alone and leave with friends that will last a lifetime!

We recommend flying into Newark (EWR) airport which is located about 1.5 hours from camp.  From there you will have to rent a car or carpool, you can find people to carpool with in our private facebook group (you will get a link in your email once you register for camp!)

Absolutely, It is encouraged! We want you to get the most out of camp!

You don't have to roll if you don't want to.  This camp is about you and your jiu jitsu experience so train as much or as little as you want. 

Feel free to ask upper belts to train, feel free to decline rolls if you're not feeling up to it/safe.

There are no laundry services available on site however there are laundry services located about 10 minutes drive away from camp. We recommend bringing enough gear for the 3 days (see packing list).

We have 10 volunteer tickets available at a discounted price.
